¶ Breakaway Cable Terminal (BCT)
¶ Summary
The BCT is a non-proprietary gating terminal. It has not been tested to MASH specifications and is actively being removed by several state DOTs.[1]
It is the subject of an interesting 1981 ISPE study and a more recent 2004 study.
